About Us
Box of Balloons is a 501(c)3 nonprofit student organization affiliated with the University of Iowa. Our mission is to make each birthdays special for local children in need. Our goal is to celebrate every child despite family's current situation, living conditions, or financial status. Our organization provides children with birthday presents, supplies, and a cake to make their birthdays special.
How to Join
Complete our memberships form here. After you fill out the form, you will receive an email with a link to join the GroupMe.
How to Donate
We rely on donations to provide birthday boxes to children. A donation of $100 will provide everything needed to celebrate a child's birthday. A donation of $25 will provide cupcakes and party favors for one birthday party and $50 will provide a birthday gift for a child in need. A donation of any amount is appreciated and will help make a child feel celebrated on their special day.
