This September, we took a group of 24 Certificate students to the Amana Colonies for a fall field trip. We met with event professionals at Koru Berry Farm, Amana Colonies Festival Inc., and Calyx Creek to learn more about their event management operations. This was a great experience for our students to get a look into the professional world of this industry. This day trip was a success amongst our students, and we are so thankful to make these opportunities possible for our program.
